Project Name: Project Management Consultancy Services (PMC) for Construction of Double line electrified Railway Track with Signaling and telecommunication system and related infrastructure for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project.
Functional Area: S&T Engineer
Location: Valsad, Gujarat Section
Duration: 12 months
Qualification: Minimum B.E./B.Tech. (Electronics / Telecom / Communication / Electrical) / Diploma ((Electronics / Telecom / Communication / Electrical).
Overall Professional Experience: More than 4 years for B.E./B. Tech. Candidates and 6 years for Diploma Candidates.
Experience in similar position: more than 4 years’ experience in execution of works related to railway telecommunication works (substations, laying of cables, testing & commissioning of power equipment).
Preferred Age: Below 40 years.
Functional Role:
A. incoming material inspection: Mainly at site and sometimes even at factory locations.
- Civil related items like RCC ducts, RCC pipes, DWC split pipes, cable markers, Prefab foundations etc.
- ALH/TH prefabricated porta huts.
- Cables of various types, which go into S&T works.
- S&T Equipment like EI, Axle counters, point machine
- Mechanical items like location boxes, signal housing.
- Cable termination racks, relay racks etc.
- Signal units.
- Telecom Towers
- OFC Ducts, OFC etc.
- And all other S&T related items.
B. Broad Site related activities: Monitoring execution of following activities:
- Cable laying as per MS.
- Wiring and testing of installations in SER, PSS , TER etc.
- ALH/TH installation and wiring.
- Signal and location box erection/wiring and termination.
- Installation of point machine.
- Installation of Axle counter.
- Conducting PAT/SAT etc.
- Installation and testing of Interlocking equipment.
- Bell tests for CTR and Relay rack installations.
- SIP Validation etc.
Reporting to Dy. CRE / RE / ARE at project Site office and OC India HO.
